Release Notes: Draftable Clean - July 2026 (v26.7.0)

Draftable Clean v26.7.0 adds SharePoint Online integration and save-back to your DMS from the desktop app, plus workflow, enterprise install, and update improvements. For a full list of items in all releases, please see our Release Log.

Draftable Clean v26.7.0 focuses on closing the loop with your document management system. You can now open documents directly from SharePoint Online and save cleaned files straight back to your DMS — without leaving the desktop app — alongside workflow, enterprise install, and update improvements.

Here are the five key features in this release:

• SharePoint Online integration — open and clean documents directly from SharePoint Online in the desktop app, matching the DMS experience already available for iManage and NetDocuments
• Save cleaned documents back to your DMS — write cleaned files straight back to iManage, NetDocuments, and SharePoint from within Draftable Clean, instead of saving locally and re-uploading
• Clearer bulk save progress — progress indication during bulk DMS saves shows how far along a multi-file save has progressed
• Automatic re-clean on profile change — selecting a different cleaning profile after a file has been cleaned re-cleans it automatically, so the result always matches the chosen profile
• Smoother enterprise installs — the MSI installs the HTTP listener by default and surfaces the installed application version in the app and its logs

Integrations

SharePoint Online integration

Draftable Clean now connects directly to SharePoint Online. You can browse and open documents from SharePoint into the desktop app for scanning and cleaning, just as you already can with iManage and NetDocuments. This removes the need to download a copy locally before you can clean it.

SharePoint joins iManage and NetDocuments as a supported DMS integration for the desktop application.

Save cleaned documents back to your DMS

You can now save cleaned documents back to your DMS — iManage, NetDocuments, and SharePoint — directly from Draftable Clean. Once a file has been cleaned, use the Save action in the toolbar to write it back to its source system, rather than saving a local copy and manually re-uploading it.

When saving several files at once, bulk save progress is now shown so you can see how far along a multi-file save has progressed.

Clean from the Windows 11 right-click menu

You can now add a Clean in Draftable command to the main Windows 11 right-click menu, so you can clean a file’s metadata straight from File Explorer without opening the app first. Ease of Use

Automatic re-clean when you change profile

If you change the cleaning profile after a document has already been cleaned, Draftable Clean now re-cleans the file automatically using the newly selected profile. This ensures the cleaned output always reflects the profile you have chosen, without needing to trigger the clean again manually.

Cleaner email hand-off

When you prepare an email from the application, Draftable Clean no longer inserts a default “Cleaned Document” subject line. The subject is left for you to complete, avoiding an unwanted placeholder in outgoing messages.

Simplified status bar

The engine version number has been removed from the bottom-left of the application for a cleaner, less cluttered interface.

Admin Configuration

HTTP listener installed by default

The machine-wide MSI now installs the HTTP listener by default. This simplifies enterprise deployment by ensuring the listener required for integrations is present without additional configuration steps.

Installed version visible in the app and logs

For MSI-installed deployments, the installed application version is now shown on the app screen and included in the application logs. This makes it easier for administrators and support to confirm exactly which version is running on a machine.

Reliability

More reliable background updates

This release improves the reliability of Draftable Clean’s automatic background updates. In addition, stale browser data is cleared on install and update, preventing display issues that could otherwise carry over between versions.
